In the Studio

Making this short today so I can get back to working on a large impending deadline. ALMOST THERE....

Working on

  • Final reviews and edits for the Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Convenient Care Center project with the Curry Boudreaux Architects team. Crossing the t's and dotting the i's. It's looking better every day!

  • Doing a little prepping for next week's MetroCON 16 Expo & Conference in Dallas! I am forward to walking the trade show floor and completing over half of my required continuing education requirements. I also signed up for the keynote this year which will be presented by Holly Hunt, C.E.O. of Holly Hunt Enterprises, Inc. As usual, I'll follow-up with my Post-MetroCON Round-up. Check out my past Round-ups for 2012 and 2014 .

Loving

Girard believed quality should speak for itself—and he did much to propagate the notion that life should be lived with a higher regard for the humanity of one’s surroundings. His uncommon way of seeing and admirably undogmatic approach to each new solution resulted in an unparalleled body of work that is not only staggering in sheer volume and creativity, but due to its fundamental qualities of beauty and usefulness, remains completely relevant today.
